• Eva Fellows, who lives in Boca Raton, Florida, is a freelance writer and the creator and administrator of this blog. She was a reporter for American Media Inc, a publisher of celebrity news and fitness magazines, for 11 years. Before moving to Florida, she was an editor at Woman’s World magazine, and a reporter for two daily newspapers in Connecticut, including The Hartford Courant.
  • Lawrence Fellows, formerly of Westport, Connecticut, created the original Stylebook, which he distributed to Connecticut newspapers for over a decade until his death in September, 2000.. He was a foreign correspondent in the 1960s and 1970s for the New York Times and later an editor at local newspapers in Connecticut. He is the author of two books, East Africa and A Gentle War, the Story of The Salvation Army, both published by Macmillan. At Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, he taught a class entitled “The Art of Effective Writing.”
  • Howard Munce, dubbed the “Dean of Artists” in Westport, Connecticut, provided many of the illustrations that are featured on this blog. He was art director for several New York advertising agencies, magazines and publishing firms. His drawings are still published regularly in a variety of newspapers and magazines, from Yankee to the New York Times. Mr. Munce was 100 years old when he died on March 5.
